The safety of our customers has our fullest attention and is always our top priority! On this page you will find all important and necessary information for your crossing to Poland and the corona regulation within Poland.
On board of our ships we still take all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and the associated disease of COVID-19. As a safety precaution, we continue to recommend that all of our passengers wear masks in the publicly accessible areas of our ships. The 3G rules no longer apply on board of our ferries. Please consider still the applicable entry and return regulations.
Who is generally permitted to enter Poland?
Generally, entry is permitted for residents from
- EU member states
- Schengen-associated countries: Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein
- Other countries
What are the entry requirements for entering Poland ?
Entry from the EU to Poland:
- no quarantine and testing obligation
- no proof of vaccination or recovery, nor a negative test is required

Are there any border controls?
In the port of Świnoujście, in addition to passport controls, travelers are obliged to present the results of a negative COVID-19 test in Polish or English at the request of a border guard or the police. There may also be medical-quarantine control after arrival. Persons with any kind of corona symptoms will be stopped at the border.
What are the current recommendations regarding public life?
Poland has lifted almost all of the restrictions, requirements and bans that were previously in place. The Polish Ministry of Health provides information on the remaining measures on its website, on Twitter and on the website of the Polish government.
What are the returning requirements to Germany?
As of 27 February 2022, Poland is no longer considered a high-risk area.
Return travel from Poland is possible without any problems. Upon entry, there is no longer any obligation to register.
This means that a digital entry declaration no longer has to be filled out before entering the country.
In general, the obligation to provide proof when entering Germany still applies to persons aged 6 and over. When entering Germany, proof of vaccination, convalescence or testing must be carried. The quarantine obligation does not apply.

Where can I get tested?
So far, there is no test station in the port of Travemünde. Here you will find an overview of all test stations in Lübeck and the surrounding area.
There is no test centre in the port of Rostock so far. The nearest test centre is located in the shopping centre "Rostocker Hof" in Rostock city centre. It is possible to make an appointment online.
